Therapy for Children & Teens
You know your child. And lately, something feels off.
Maybe the meltdowns come out of nowhere. Maybe they're anxious, withdrawn, angry, or just... not themselves. Maybe your teen has gone quiet, and you can't tell if it's normal or something more.
You don't have to figure it out alone.
At Find Your Voice Counseling & Consultation in Evanston, IL, with a Skokie location opening soon, we help children and teens make sense of big feelings, and we help you feel steadier as their parent. Our therapists create a warm, judgment-free space where your child can feel safe enough to open up... and slowly find their way back to themselves.

What therapy actually looks like
For younger children, therapy often looks like play, art, and stories, because that's how kids work through what they can't yet put into words. For teens, it's real conversation, on their terms, with tools they can actually use. When trauma is part of the picture, our EMDR-trained clinicians help children and teens move through it gently and at their pace.
We meet each child where they are. No two kids are the same, so no two sessions look the same.
You're part of this, too
Children heal best when the adults around them feel supported. We keep you involved with guidance and regular check-ins, so you're never on the outside looking in. We'll help you understand what your child is going through, and what actually helps at home.
Care that reflects your family
Our team is culturally responsive, and we have a Spanish-speaking therapist, so more families can feel understood in the language and context that fits them.
Helping your child find their voice
Every child deserves to feel heard. When kids learn to name what they feel and trust their own voice, they carry that for the rest of their lives.
If you've been wondering whether it's time to reach out... it's okay to trust that instinct. We're here when you're ready.
