Introduction

Hello, I’m Micaiah — and I’m truly excited about the possibility of working with you. As a therapist, I’m deeply passionate about social justice and the ways our environments shape who we are. I believe in exploring not just what’s happening within you, but also how external systems and experiences have influenced your story. Many of us carry more than we realize, and those unseen burdens can sometimes stand in the way of the change we want for ourselves.

In our work together, my goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can show up fully as yourself. My approach is collaborative — I center your needs and goals while offering steady support and practical tools as you move through your healing journey. I help clients navigate challenges such as recovering from difficult relationships, managing anxiety and depression, and unlearning patterns that no longer serve them.

I bring openness, warmth, and genuine curiosity to each session. I’m deeply interested in your story — in what has shaped you, and in who you are becoming. We are all beautifully unique and capable of growth. Life can be hard, but you don’t have to go through it alone.

What Clients Say About Me

Clients describe me as compassionate, straightforward, and grounded with a sense of humor. I strive to strike a balance between validation and accountability—creating space for your feelings to be fully honored while also encouraging honest reflection and growth. My goal is to help you recognize patterns, take ownership where needed, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Clients also share that I bring creativity and fresh perspective to our work together, often introducing new ways of thinking or approaching challenges they hadn’t considered before.
